American Airlines + Disney's "Planes"

While at Disney, 7th and Sunset leadership helped shape a unique brand integration between American Airlines and Planes, introducing “Tripp” — a custom character inspired by the Boeing 777 and timed to announce American’s new brand livery.

Working closely with filmmakers and the airline’s marketing team, we led the strategy and pitch that brought American into the Planes universe. The partnership extended far beyond the screen, launching as a global 360° campaign that included a custom animated spot, in-flight promotion, kids activity packs, a simulation game in key airports, digital and social media, and customer screening events.

A smart integration that turned a brand reveal into a storytelling moment — in theaters, online, and 30,000 feet in the air.
